The 1000 Series Aluminium represents commercially pure aluminium with a minimum aluminium content of 99.0% or higher. Common grades such as 1050, 1060, 1070, and 1100 are widely used where corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal efficiency, and excellent formability are more critical than high mechanical strength.
Unlike higher-strength aluminium alloys, the 1000 series contains no intentional alloying elements, resulting in a soft, ductile, and chemically stable material. This makes it ideal for electrical systems, chemical processing equipment, food packaging, and heat-exchange applications.
Chemical Composition
| Element | Content (%) |

| Iron (Fe) | ≤ 0.40 |
| Silicon (Si) | ≤ 0.25 |
| Copper (Cu) | ≤ 0.05 |
| Others | Trace only |
